Undoubtedly, Amerant Bank and its team members are immense fans of hockey, specifically our hometown team, 2024 champions, the Florida Panthers. We teamed up with Florida Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk on our new Amerant Bank Panthers debit card.
This debit card ties to checking, savings, and money market accounts. It offers flexibility and Amerant Bank backing. Customers can use the ATM for free at Amerant Bank locations in South Florida and Tampa and at over 55,000 AllPoint locations across the US.
As a fan of Amerant Bank, Tkachuk stated that, regarding the partnership, “I am proud to work with a company like Amerant Bank. They are a group that is truly committed to South Florida and are big fans and supporters of our team. I look forward to sharing many more exciting moments on the ice at Amerant Bank Arena and in our community.”
Our love of hockey and the Florida Panthers also extends to the upcoming 2024 NHL playoffs and the team’s winning of the Atlantic Conference championship. To celebrate and highlight this partnership, billboards featuring Tkachuk near the Amerant Bank Arena will now appear and will run throughout the playoffs and beyond. The highly visible boards in Broward county highlight that the Panthers Debit Card is penalty-free for checking, and savings account options are available.
In addition, during the playoffs, Amerant Bank Arena attendees can visit near the vault and open a checking/savings/money market account by scanning a QR code on a screen featuring Matthew Tkachuk holding the card. Visitors can purchase tickets to enter the vault, view playoff games, and enjoy food and beverages.
Amerant has also contributed heavily to Saves for Vets ties, in-game saves during Florida Panthers matches, and donations to military veterans and their families on our behalf.
The decision to partner with Tkachuk matches the mission of Amerant Bank through its team members and the numerous efforts we’ve undertaken to bridge the gap between banking, sports, and entertainment. The main goal is to foster a deeper connection in the communities we serve. We work with many charitable causes, including United Way, Camillus House, Live Like Bella, and Habitat for Humanity, among other initiatives. This collaboration underscores our unwavering commitment to South Florida, Tampa, and the central Florida region.
