Amerant’s Lance Schielack Appointed to Serve on Board of Directors For Houston West Chamber of Commerce
Schielack has been named Board Secretary for the Chamber
Houston, TX – Amerant proudly announces that Lance Schielack, Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Manager, has been recently named Board Secretary for the Houston West Chamber of Commerce.
As the Board Secretary, Schielack will track progress on administrative tasks, provide organizational oversight and support the overall goals and initiatives for the Chamber.
The Houston West Chamber of Commerce is a professional organization dedicated to supporting the community and local businesses of West Houston, through economic opportunities, strong community ties and a focus on professional relationships that enables business growth and success within the community.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the banking industry, Schielack currently oversees Commercial Relationship Managers as well as supports Portfolio Officers and Lending Assistants.
Prior to joining Amerant, he served Sterling Bank as Senior Vice president, Commercial Banker and Vice President, Commercial Banker. Prior to that, he also served Regions Bank as an Assistant Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager.
An active member of the community, Schielack is a Committee Member for the West Houston Outlook Forum and Business Expo. Additionally, he is a Captain on the Breeders Greeters Committee through the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. Schielack earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School.
