ClickSWITCH® is an automated account-switching solution that allows you to securely set up transfers over your recurring direct deposits and automatic payments from your previous financial institution account over to Amerant Bank. This removes the hassle of contacting all your billing contacts and depositors to inform them of your new Amerant account. There are two ways to set up a ClickSWITCH® account: online or in one of our branches. Once you’re enrolled, you just input your payment and direct deposit information to our secure ClickSWITCH® system, submit the switch, and we’ll do the rest. You can monitor the progress and switch status in the Status column on your dashboard.
One way is to open a new checking account online at amerantbank.com. Once you open an account with us, you’ll receive an email from noreply@amerantbank.com with information on how to set up your account. The other way is to go to a nearby branch, open your checking account, and ask a banking specialist to enroll you into ClickSWITCH®. If you already have an account with us, you can still request to enroll in ClickSWITCH® at your nearest branch.
